The Santa Cruz Ski and Snowboard Club is the most fun and cheapest way to get to the snow. During last winter, the club travelled to the mountains all winter long hitting up Jackson Hole, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Kirkwood, Mammoth, and June Mountain.

The SCSSC is the largest social club in Santa Cruz, and is comprised mainly of UC Santa Cruz students. We devote the fall quarter to meeting new skiers and snowboarders and partying to show people what it means to be a ski clubber.

A few days after fall finals finish, the SCSSC joins snow clubs from all the other UC's on the ALL CAL, an epic, week-long ski trip to various mountains all over the country, last year we rocked Jackson Hole in Wyoming, this year we're heading to STEAMBOAT COLORADO.

Fall may be fun but the SCSSC really comes alive when the snow starts to cover Lake Tahoe. The SCSSC takes cares of its members and gets them discounts throughout the entire winter making skiing and riding as cheap as possible. Some of the perks you can expect through the club:

• $30/day for lodging, carpools to the mountains and drinks when staying with the club!
• $25 lift tickets to Kirkwood and $35 tickets to Alpine Meadows
• $255 Season Pass that's good at Alpine Meadows, Kirkwood, AND Homewood

The club rents cabins all over Tahoe almost every weekend winter quarter in order to ensure that members get the chance to ride as much as possible. We also help members arrange carpools up to the snow so that students without their own transportation can easily join the fun.

Th SCSSC exists to bring students to the snow, for cheap and continues to do so even through spring quarter as long as possible...but all good things must come to an end. But don't worry, once the snow has melted the club has plenty of activities for members: a softball team, a river floating trip, a houseboats trip over Memorial Day weekend, jello wrestling shenanigans, and much more!
